Reds | Carroll suspended
The Associated Press reports Cincinnati Reds P Scott Carroll was suspended 50 games Tuesday, Sept. 9, for testing positive for a hormone under baseball's minor league drug program. He will serve his suspension at the start of next season. He tested positive for Human Chorionic Gonadotropin, a hormone that is used to stimulate ovulation or testosterone production.
