Yankees | Rasner pulled from starting rotation
New York Yankees SP Darrell Rasner (5-9, 5.08 ERA) will not make his scheduled start against the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim Tuesday, Sept. 9, due to recent ineffectiveness, according to The Associated Press. Rasner, who is winless in his last nine starts, allowed five runs against the Tampa Bay Rays Thursday, Sept. 4, while only recording four outs. P Alfredo Aceves, who allowed one run in a five-inning relief stint in that game, will start against the Angels instead on Tuesday.
