Panthers | Team Notes

The Gaston Gazette reports police identified the fan who ran out on field in the fourth quarter as Michael Larry Deeb, 20, of Charlotte. Police said early today that he likely will be charged with second degree trespassing. Third-team QB Dameyune Craig played again as a backup running back. He had one carry for six yards to give the Panthers a first down. The Charlotte Observer reports coach George Seifert stated a big key to last night's victory was the much-maligned offensive line who had great push on many running plays, helping lead Brad Hoover to a 100-yard night and giving Steve Beuerlein enough time to throw three TD passes.
