Rangers | White optioned to Bakersfield

Contrary to previous reports, the Texas Rangers have optioned RP Billy White to Class A Bakersfield, according to The Associated Press. He will remain with the team until their season ends Monday, Sept. 1, then rejoin the parent club when rosters expand.
