Panthers | More On Minter

Steve Reed reports for the Gaston Gazette Carolina Panthers SS Mike Minter said Monday that doctors have told him he shouldnít miss any more than four weeks. Coach George Seifert has not put out an official date for his return. Minter has a second-degree sprained medial collateral ligament. "A second-degree sprain means itís right before (the ligament) rips apart," Minter said. "So, thatís where it is right now." As previously reported, Damien Richardson takes over as the team's starting strong safety.
