Panthers | Jeffers to Return?

Associated Press reports Carolina Panthers WR Patrick Jeffers is expected to return to the field for the first time since suffering a torn ACL 14 months ago. Jeffers has been inactive all season, but was told by the coaching staff that he'd be active for this weekend's game. However, he's expected to be limited and only see time in multiple receiver sets. Mushin Muhammad and Donald Hayes remain the starters, with Isaac Byrd serving as the No. 3 receiver.
