Panthers | Injury Notes

The Charlotte Observer reports Carolina Panthers G Kevin Donnalley said he would have surgery to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his knee either today or next Wednesday. Doctors told Donnalley his rehabilitation would last nine months. "That puts me right at July," he said. "It's perfect." Team officials expect return specialist Steve Smith to be back at practice Wednesday. He sat out against the Jets with a sprained medial collateral ligament.
