Jaguars | Still no progress with Harvey
Vito Stellino, of the Florida Times-Union, reports the Jacksonville Jaguars spoke with the agent for first-round draft pick DL Derrick Harvey for the first time in over a week Saturday, Aug. 9, however no progress was made in negotiations. The team has yet to make a new offer for Harvey. The sticking point in talks remains unchanged. Agent Ken Kremer wants what he believes is a market deal for Harvey in the eighth slot. The team believes the players drafted in front of Harvey, New York Jets LB Vernon Gholston and New Orleans Saints DL Sedrick Ellis, shouldn't set the market for Harvey.
