Bills | Christie Note
The Associated Press reports an upset PK Steve Christie does not plan to retire. He was upset with the way the Buffalo Bills handled his release. The team said they may look for ways to re-sign him after their 10-week waiting period is up. Christie said he does not feel that will happen and that the team cut him. Christie plans to have an MRI exam on Tuesday to determine the extent of his groin strain. When healthy, he will begin trying out for other teams in hopes of playing a few more seasons. He has already been approached by at least one team, the Canadian Football League's Edmonton Eskimos.
