MLB | Gossage inducted into Hall of Fame Sunday

The Associated Press' William Kates reports former major league CL Rich Gossage was inducted into the Hall of Fame Sunday, July 27. "Goose" Gossage pitched for nine teams over 22 years and had 310 career saves and 1,502 strikeouts in 1,002 games. He wore a New York Yankees hat at the ceremony. He is the fifth reliever to be inducted, joining Bruce Sutter, Hoyt Wilhelm, Rollie Fingers, and Dennis Eckersley.
