Saints | E. Johnson to fight for roster spot

Mike Triplett, of the New Orleans Times-Picayune, reports New Orleans Saints TE Eric Johnson (ankle) will battle for a roster spot during training camp. The addition of TE Jeremy Shockey has made the Saints tight end position crowded. Johnson has been fighting through a lingering ankle injury during the summer and said he welcomes the competition.
