Hot off the Wire news, rumors and tips

Falcons | Team Notes

The Atlanta Journal Constitution reports Atlanta Falcons OT Ephraim Salaam worked out at UCLA under the tutelage of Bob Kersee before joining the Falcons off-season workout program. He rehabilitated his right knee and worked on quickness and strength. Salaam said he's not 100 percent yet, but he's a lot better than last year. He missed most of training camp last season after tearing cartilage in his knee and having surgery. Speaking of Salaam, he's hoping Falcons add another offensive tackle in the NFL Draft. WR Terance Mathis feels differently, he'd like more company at WR. Mathis would like to see the team add an impact player with their No. 5 overall pick.
