MLB | Union to file grievance

The Associated Press reports Michael Weiner, the general counsel of the MLB Players Association, said the union plans on filing a grievance Tuesday, July 1, regarding the Houston Astros release of P Shawn Chacon. The union will claim the Astros improperly terminated Chacon's deal and that he is owed the remaining $938,607 of his $2 million salary this year.
