Lions | Cherilus sentenced to probation

The Detroit Free Press reports Detroit Lions OL Gosder Cherilus was ordered to serve one year of pretrial probation Wednesday, June 25, for his role in a bar brawl in Boston, according to the Boston Globe. Cherilus was also ordered to pay $52,000 in medical bills to a patron who was seriously injured. Cherilus was with San Diego Chargers CB DeJuan Tribble, Cherilus' former teammate at Boston College.
