Buccaneers | Piscitelli challenging for starting spot

Roy Cummings, of The Tampa Tribune, reports Tampa Bay Buccaneers SS Sabby Piscitelli is challenging to be a starter on defense, according to defensive coordinator Monte Kiffin. Kiffin said Piscitelli, who missed all but three games last season with a foot injury, has really improved this offseason. Piscitelli could win a job as the team's third safety. He will compete with SS Tanard Jackson, SS Jermaine Phillips, FS Will Allen, SS Donte' Nicholson and FS Eugene Wilson for a safety spot on the depth chart.
