Texans | Team signs Colvin

Updating a previous report, Brooke Bentley, of HoustonTexans.com, reports the Houston Texans signed free-agent LB Rosevelt Colvin (Patriots) Monday, June 16. The team is expected to use Colvin as an edge rusher to complement DL Mario Williams. Colvin may not be used as an every-down linebacker but could be used as a pass rusher in passing situations. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
