NFL | Foley charged with felony
The Associated Press reports former NFL LB Steve Foley was charged with a felony after his dogs bit a woman and killed her puppy. Foley surrendered Wednesday, June 4, and was released on a $10,000 bond, according to sheriff's spokeswoman Terriann Carlson. Foley was indicted by a grand jury, accusing him of failing to secure the dogs. If convicted, the felony charge could result in two to 10 years in prison, according to Foley's lawyer, Paul Nugent.
