Eagles | Sampy undergoes surgery

The Philadelphia Eagles announced Thursday, May 29, that WR Bill Sampy (ankle) underwent successful surgery on his left ankle, which was fractured and dislocated during the team's offseason workout Tuesday, May 27. The surgery was performed by Dr. Steve Raikin, who is a foot and ankle specialist from The Rothman Institute at Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia.
