Brewers | Team reacquires Crabbe

Tom Haudricourt, of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, reports the Milwaukee Brewers reacquired San Diego Padres 2B Callix Crabbe Friday, May 16. The Brewers had selected Crabbe in the Rule 5 draft of unprotected minor leaguers last year. The Padres designated him for assignment last weekend, giving them 10 days to trade him or have him clear waivers. After he cleared waivers, the Padres were required to offer him back to the Brewers for half the $50,000 draft price. The Brewers have assigned Crabbe to Triple-A Nashville.
