Redskins | WR - Yes, No, Maybe
The Washington Post reports the Washington Redskins may consider pursuing a free agent WR after June 1. Some of the names on the radar could be Green Bay's Antonio Freeman, Jacksonville's Keenan McCardell, Detroit's Herman Moore and Kansas City's Derrick Alexander. Coach Steve Spurrier has said he is happy with the WRs he has, so adding a free agent is not definite. The decision could be based upon how much salary cap space the Redskins have to work with. "We'll have to wait and see," Spurrier said Thursday. The team also has more pressing needs at other positions. The Redskins have had on-again, off-again interest in free agent WR Willie Jackson (Saints).
