Royals | Soria kept on sideline

The Topeka Capital-Journal's Rick Dean reports Kansas City Royals CL Joakim Soria, who has not given up a run in 13 innings, was not used to close out the May 5 game against the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. Because Soria had closed out Royals wins over the last two days, manager Trey Hillman didn't want to use him for a third straight day.
