Bears | Williams history as a left tackle was the difference

Brad Biggs, of the Chicago Sun-Times, reports Chicago Bears general manager Jerry Angelo stated the team went into the offseason with left tackle as their No. 1 need. The decision to draft Chicago Bears OT Chris Williams with their first-round pick instead of Carolina Panthers OT Jeff Otah was due to Otah's projection as a right tackle. Angelo also reported that the Bears turned down multiple trade offers for the pick.
