NASCAR | LMS to honor Jarrett
NASCAR.com reports Lowe's Motor Speedway is offering a special two-day ticket package for $44 to the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series All-Star race May 17, which will be Michael Waltrip Racing driver Dale Jarrett's last race as a professional NASCAR driver. Jarrett showcased the No. 44 UPS Toyota Camry that he will drive in the All-Star race that features a special paint scheme paying tribute to Jarrett and his accomplishments as a driver. He is also going to race the "truck" after pre-race introductions. Jarrett will drive the UPS race truck from the UPS commercial and drive a lucky fan around the 1.5-mile racetrack. Jarrett calls Lowe's his home track and is excited about having his last professional race there. "This is obviously going to be a big weekend for me, my family and everyone at UPS," Jarrett said. "The opportunity for my last race to be at what I consider my home track is something I appreciate and look forward to."
