Padres | Sinisi to have surgery Monday
Updating a previous item, MLB.com's Corey Brock reports San Diego Padres OF Vince Sinisi (wrist) will have surgery Monday, March 10, to repair his broken right wrist. He broke it in two places, according to Padres manager Bud Black. Sinisi expects it will be between four to six weeks before he can take off a cast from his wrist, and then an additional three to four weeks before he might be cleared to perform baseball activities. "It's going to be right around a couple months I think before I can play," said Sinisi. This is the fourth baseball-related injury in his career, as he has also had a broken left arm, knee surgery, and had a rib removed.
