Broncos | V. Johnson surrenders

The Associated Press reports former Denver Broncos WR Vance Johnson surrendered to Rifle police Thursday, Feb. 21, after failing to appear at a court hearing in a bad-check case. Johnson was accused of writing two bad checks in 2001. He was scheduled to appear at a related hearing Feb. 8, but a warrant for his arrest was issued when he did not show. Johnson played for the Broncos in the 1980s and 90s.
