Texans | Team not expected to tender offer to Mathis

John McClain, of the Houston Chronicle, reports the Houston Texans are not expected to tender an offer to WR Jerome Mathis, who is scheduled to become a restricted free agent this offseason. If the team refuses to tender an offer to Mathis, he would become an unrestricted free agent. The Texans are disappointed in Mathis after he was charged with attacking his pregnant girlfriend.
