Braves | Ridgway acquired
MLB.com's Mark Bowman reports the Atlanta Braves acquired left-handed RP Jeff Ridgway from the Tampa Bay Rays Thursday, Jan. 17, in return for IF Willy Aybar and minor league IF Chase Fontaine. The 27-year-old Ridgway had a 3.06 ERA in 54 appearances in 2007 for Triple-A Durham. He features a low-90s fastball.
