Cardinals | Jimenez agrees to terms

Joe Strauss, of The St. Louis Post-Dispatch, reports the St. Louis Cardinals have signed IF D'Angelo Jimenez to a minor league contract. The parties agreed on a $600,000 base salary should Jimenez remain in the major leagues. His split contract also allows him to demand free agency if not with the Cardinals on a certain date, believed to be July 1.
