Royals | Nettles signed

The Kansas City Royals have announced they signed 3B Jeff Nettles to a minor league contract. The 29-year-old, who is the son of former New York Yankees 3B Graig Nettles, appeared in 58 contests with Double-A Wichita last season while driving in 41 runs. He had begun the season with Somerset in the Independent Atlantic League.
