MLB | Parque named in Mitchell Report
The Chicago Tribune's Mark Gonzales reports former major league SP Jim Parque, who pitched five seasons with the Chicago White Sox from 1998 to 2002, was linked to performance-enhancing drugs after the 2003 season he spent with the Tampa Bay Rays. According to the report, Parque bought $3,200 worth of human growth hormone from Kirk Radomski, a former New York Mets clubhouse attendant who has been charged with steroid distribution and who provided information to Mitchell's investigators.
