Patriots | Dillon would like to return to team
Christopher L. Gasper, of the Boston Globe, reports retired RB Corey Dillon would come out of retirement if he had a chance to rejoin the New England Patriots, according to his agent, Steve Feldman. Dillon has been working out with a trainer at home for over a month, and the Patriots are filled with question marks in their backfield after reported injuries to RB Laurence Maroney (foot) and Kevin Faulk (head) in Week 11. However, Feldman said the team has yet to contact Dillon. "If they needed him, he'd be more than happy to come back and help," said Feldman. "At this point, they aren't in a position that they feel they need him."
