49ers | Nedney fined $7,500 for obscene gesture

Matt Maiocco, of the Santa Rosa Press Democrat, reports San Francisco 49ers PK Joe Nedney was fined $7,500 by the NFL for making an obscene gesture towards a fan during the team's Week 8 game. The live telecast of the game captured Nedney scratching the back of his head with his middle finger, with the finger being pointed in the direction of a fan who taunted Nedney after kicking the ball out of bounds on a kickoff.
