Brewers | Jones had Tommy John surgery in June

Confirming a previous item, Milwaukee Brewers P Mike D. Jones (elbow) did go on to have Tommy John surgery performed back in June, reports MLB.com's Adam McCalvy. Jones had been attempting a comeback from multiple shoulder injuries but was sidelined with elbow problems after making six starts with Double-A Huntsville. The 23-year-old right-hander was the 12th overall selection back in the 2001 First-Year Player Draft.
