Patriots | Rivers contract update

Christopher L. Gasper, of the Boston Globe, reports the New England Patriots signed free-agent TE Marcellus Rivers (Patriots) to a two-year contract. Rivers will earn a base salary of $595,000 this season and $605,000 next season.
