Bengals | Bresnahan says poor showing his fault

Kevin Goheen, of the Cincinnati Post, reports Cincinnati Bengals defensive coordinator Chuck Bresnahan said he takes full responsibility for the defense giving up 51 points to the Cleveland Browns. "I'm pointing (the finger) right here. It is a frustrating deal. But I put it on me. When they win - and I told you guys last week - the credit goes to them for executing the game plan. I didn't have them ready to play. For some reason we blew very simple adjustments that we did the entire offseason. There was nothing special in this game plan. To not execute, I take that personally. Because I really believe the way you play is a direct reflection of the way you're coached. I take that personally. We'll have them ready to play," Bresnahan said.
