Saints | Day Of Rest

The Times Picayune reports New Orleans Saints LB Darrin Smith was allowed to sit out both of Wednesday's practices. Coach Jim Haslett is giving certain veterans, including LB Bryan Cox and C Jerry Fontenot, that same luxury. He wants to keep the players fresh throughout training camp.
