Eagles | Scott still has soreness in knee

Bob Brookover, of the Philadelphia Inquirer, reports Philadelphia Eagles OT Ian Scott (knee) has not responded well to treatment for a swollen left knee and will miss the Friday, Aug. 17, preseason game against the Carolina Panthers, according to Eagles head coach Andy Reid. "He's got soreness in there, and he's had a bunch of different people look at him," said Reid. "He practiced a little bit the last couple days on the scout team and tested the knee out." Reid said he is hopeful that Scott can return for the Sunday, Aug. 26, preseason game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
