Redskins | Concern about ground game
Gary Fitzgerald, of Redskins.com, reports Washington Redskins assistant coach Joe Bugel and head coach Joe Gibbs voiced concern about the running game following the team's 14-6 win Saturday, Aug. 11, to the Tennessee Titans. Redskins RBs Ladell Betts, Rock Cartwright and Derrick Blaylock combined for 28 yards rushing on 13 carries in the first half. "(The Titans) played with more enthusiasm up front," said Bugel. "They were powerful and we didn't get a whole lot of movement." "We didn't run the ball the way we wanted to," added Gibbs. "After looking at the film, I think we all were a little disappointed in ourselves."
