Vikings | Contract Notes

According to the Star Tribune, Minnesota Vikings G Corbin Lacina has agreed in principle to a restructured contract. It should be worked out officially by Wednesday. The Vikings expect to work out a new deal with guard David Dixon soon as well. It now appears negotiations on a new deal for OT Brad Badger will not happen until after the NFL Scouting Combine. There has reportedly been no progress in the negotiations with WR Chris Walsh. The sticking point is he lower amount the Vikings want to pay if Walsh is injured. Coach Mike Tice indicated the situation will be resolved one way or another by Thursday.
