Indians | Stanford has successful 2007 debut

Updating previous items, Cleveland Indians SP Jason Stanford had a solid outing in his 2007 debut Thursday, June 14, according to the Yahoo! Sports box score. Stanford went six innings, giving up just one earned run on six hits while fanning seven. He threw 89 pitches, with 63 going for strikes. He was in line for the win heading into the bottom of the ninth inning.
