Nationals | Patience at the plate paying off
Bill Ladson, of Washington.Nationals.MLB.com, reports the Washington Nationals are hitting .255 with 32 RBI since Lenny Harris took over as hitting coach Friday, May 11. According to Harris, a big part of the Nationals turnaround has been because of greater patience at the plate. "I got the hitters to slow their swing down, pick out a pitch that they like to hit -- just try to drive it to the other side of the field," Harris said. "Just try to stay through the ball and let things happen. Everybody is on the same page. Hopefully, they will continue to do it."
