Nationals | Two prospects injured during brawl
Two Washington Nationals minor leaguers were hospitalized with injuries sustained during a bench-clearing brawl, Thursday, April 26, according to the Associated Press. The fight occured during a game between the Potomac Nationals and the Winston-Salem Warthogs, an affiliate of the Chicago White Sox. C Brian Peacock (back), who is expected to miss at least one month of action, was placed on the disabled list with hairline fractures to vertebrates in his lower back, while P Clint Everts (head) suffered a concussion. Everts missed his scheduled start, Friday, April 27, but is expected to pitch Wednesday, May 2.
