Cubs | Santo remains in hospital
Chicago Cubs broadcaster Ron Santo remained in a hospital, Sunday, April 22, while undergoing tests for an irregular heartbeat, according to the Associated Press. He was admitted to the hospital Saturday, April 21, and his return to the radio booth is undetermined. Santo was diagnosed with Type I diabetes when he was 18, and both of his legs were amputated in recent years. He had a heart bypass in 2000, and was diagnosed with bladder tumors in 2003.
