Patriots | Sauerbrun’s contract voided

John Clayton, of ESPN.com, reports a Special Master ruled that P Todd Sauerbrun is a free agent, voiding the New England Patriots' right to match the one-year contract offer Sauerbrun received from the Denver Broncos. The contract was voided because the first-right-of-refusal clause was not separate from the original contract.
