Chiefs | Team unlikely to address receiver position in draft?
Adam Teicher, of the Kansas City Star, reports the Kansas City Chiefs do not view improving the wide receiver position as a top priority. The team did not address the position in free agency, while the only top receiver prospect known to be visiting the team prior to the NFL Draft is Tennessee WR Robert Meachem. Head coach Herman Edwards said WR Jeff Webb and WR Chris Hannon will be given an opportunity to contribute in 2007. "We've got two young guys, and I want to see whether they can play or not," Edwards said of Webb and Hannon. "I know one thing: We don't cover them in practice very well."
