Patriots | Team matches offer to Sauerbrun

Mike Reiss, of the Boston Globe, reports the New England Patriots have matched the Denver Broncos' offer to free-agent P Todd Sauerbrun (Patriots). The Broncos and Sauerbrun had agreed to a one-year contract that could be worth up to $1.4 million with incentives, but the Patriots had seven days to match the offer.
