Blue Jays | Thomson likely to be traded, released or reassigned

Jordan Bastian, of BlueJays.MLB.com, reports Toronto Blue Jays SP John Thomson was told by Blue Jays' pitching coach Brad Arnsberg that there wasn't a spot for him in their bullpen and it's not feasible that he would be the club's fourth or fifth pitcher in the rotation.
