Marlins | Bowyer released then re-signed

Joe Frisaro, of Marlins.MLB.com, reports the Florida Marlins released RP Travis Bowyer (shoulder) Thursday, March 1, then immediately re-signed him to a minor league contract. Bowyer is expected to miss his second straight season as he recovers from shoulder surgery last August.
