49ers | Hicks receives low-tender offer

Matt Maiocco, of the Santa Rosa Press Democrat, reports San Francisco 49ers restricted free-agent RB Maurice Hicks has been low-tendered a one-year, $850,000 deal. The 49ers would not receive any compensation should another team sign him, because he wasn't drafted.
