Tigers | Giarratano injures shoulder; 2007 in doubt

The Detroit Free Press reports Detroit Tigers SS prospect Tony Giarratano (shoulder) will undergo shoulder surgery March 1, and his 2007 season could be in doubt. Dr. Peter Millett will perform the surgery in Vail, Colo., where Giarratano underwent surgery to repair the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee only seven months ago.
